Gators Programme

The Gators Programme consists of three arms that make up the whole programme. Tiny Gators, Little Gators and Harry Gators.

We believe that physical activity and education should be accessible for all children, and research has shown that children who participate and enjoy sport at a young age, the likelihood is that they are going to continue to be physically active for the rest of their lives. Our range of programmes have been designed to holistically develop your child. All programmes include fun and engaging activities which will give each child opportunities to express themselves by playing themed games within a safe learning environment.

Our aim is to prepare children for further education, where there is a bigger focus on sport and physical education, by raising participation levels from a early age, developing their fine and gross motor skills and getting them routinely excited to engage in sessions.

Tiny Gators

Our Tiny Gators programme has been specifically designed to cater for children aged 2-3 who are tracking in Range 4.

Using the EYFS Statuary Framework as a basis for all the sessions we design we ensure that the following are incorporated into our engaging activities:
✔ Communication and Language
✔ Personal, Social and Emotional Development
✔ Physical Development
✔ Literacy
✔ Mathematics
✔ Understanding the World
✔ Expressive Arts and Designs

Our Early Years Specialists have an extensive knowledge of tracking targets at Range 4 and incorporate these into their session plans. Using this as well as a progress tracker developed by them, we can ensure that you child will both have fun and develop at an efficient level.

Little Gators

Our Little Gators programme follows directly on from Tiny Gators and has been specifically designed to continue catering for children aged 3-5 as they grow and develop through Ranges 5 and 6.

Again, we continue to use the EYFS statuary framework as the foundation for all session plans we create for your child.

Using our extensive knowledge of Ranges 5 and 6’s tracking targets, we evolve and advance the sessions to ensure that your child is continuing their journey of growth efficiently and continue to monitor their development using our simple but effective tracking method which we share with your staff to aid them in assessing your child.

PPA Cover

PE PPA cover is a service we offer where one of our dedicated physical education coaches, teaches PE lessons to Primary School students, allowing the regular classroom teacher to use their designated time for Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA).

This ensures the children receive high-quality, curriculum-aligned physical education instruction from a specialist.

How it works:
Teacher’s non-contact time:
Primary school teachers are legally entitled to PPA time for tasks like lesson planning, marking, and assessment.

Specialist delivery:
Professional PE coaches deliver the PE lessons, following the national curriculum.

Continuity:
This arrangement ensures that the students continue to receive a full PE lesson while the classroom teacher can focus on their other duties without needing to find cover for their PPA time.

Benefits for students:
Children receive structured and engaging PE lessons delivered by specialists, which can include a variety of sports and activities.

Key benefits:
For teachers:
Frees up time for planning, preparation, and assessment, which helps manage workload and improves well-being.

For schools:
Ensures the school’s PE curriculum is delivered consistently and to a high standard, helping to meet national curriculum requirements.

For students:
Provides high-quality PE instruction and can offer opportunities to represent their school in sports tournaments.
